Appreciation

My dad has been on a work trip to Chicago for the last week and i miss him so much! Even though it was only a week without him, yI learned to appreciate my family so much because things are do different when even one person is missing, so love you family while you still can because you never know what's around the corner 

The big "1" "8"

Hey :) so last Thursday I finally turned 18! Been waiting for so long and it's finally here , had a great night with my friends on Friday night and then a big party on Saturday with all my family. It was a great weekend and I still can't believe I'm actually 18

The start of my new addiction!!

Hey :) I'm literally just back from the best experience of my life so far! I've been to uganda (and kenya for a few hours) and it was absolutely amazing and a huge eye opener, the kids were so adorable and I loved teaching them for the two weeks but in reality they have taught me so much more , I've learned that there is so much more to life than what we think. From travelling to Africa for the first time I know want to cross every continent off my bucket list ! Travelling is one of the best ways to experience life in other ways . My bucket list for countries to visit would be : North America , Peru , Thailand , Japan , Singapore , Egypt , and to go interrailing through loads of European countries. This is just a small taste of where I want to go next. I'd love to be able to say when I'm older than I've seen the most I could possibly see in one  lifetime  

Sex and the city

I have waited so long to finally be able to laze around and watch my favourite movie "Sex and the City". I cannot wait to spend this summer seeing an amazing continent Africa and finally getting to see my absolute favourite musical "Phantom of the Opera" in the west end , I can't already tell this summer will be brilliant, it's my second last summer with all my girlies before we all go away to college and move away from this rotten town ! Let the summer festivities commence!!! 

It only takes a little to change a lot

Hey :) as you know I am going volunteering in Kenya this summer for 2 weeks, last night we met a girl who had already gone and she told us everything about her trip to Kenya, the minute I got home a started balling crying because of a certain story she told us, the she met a guy over there who's education had been sponsored by a volunteer which only cost about €100, this amount of money was enough to put him through college to make a life for himself otherwise he probably would of got involved in a life of crime. To think €100 here is a new coat or a new pair of boots but the same amount of money could change their life so much. I can feel this trip will be very emotional but I can't wait for it, can't believe I'm getting this opportunity to go to Africa. 

First blog of 2014

Hey everyone :)                                           Hope everyone rang in the new year I. Style with all the people that they love! I thought of a cute blog idea and said I'd share it, it's the little things I love in life so here we're go :).                                       I love lying in be listen to the wind and rain, spending all day with my friends, reminiscing about old times, watching love movies, chats with my mam, new socks, walks by myself with music, singing in my kitchen, dressing the way I want, Starbucks mocha frappachinos, kinder bars, nights out, spending time with my cousins, sleepovers, my beautiful dog pippin, long phone calls, lazy days and dinner with my family :) these are just the things I can think of off the top of my head, I saw a quote "don't let a bad day let you think you have a bad life" we all have such a good life so we should appreciate the little things in life
