1st night out of Christmas

Hey :)

As we all know its the eve of Christmas Eve! and let the party season roll on, tonight is my first night out of this Christmas period and I'll blog about the outfit I'll be wearing in my fashion blog at myteenfashionlife.blogspot.com so check that out tomorrow ! Tonight in my town everyone is doing the 12 pubs of Christmas which involves having 1 drink in 12 pubs and there loads of silly rules for each pub! I'm not doing it because simply i'd be going home in an ambulance if i had 12 drinks lol, but I cant wait for tonight and Stephen's night and new years eve, the party season is in full swing for everyone around the world.

Faith

hey :)

Today I was just thinking about how my Christmas this year is going to be a little harder than it usually is without my aunt. I noticed I have started praying a lot more since she passed away and in the last few months I have a different outlook on life. I'm by no means saying I'm strictly religious or anything like that but I have faith, and I think every now and again we all need to think that someone is watching us and taking care of us. whether you believe in god or not it doesn't matter everyone deserves to believe what they want to. This year has been so hard and without a doubt god helped me though it, even though sometimes I question that life is not fair but I am thankful for everything i am blessed with. Some times religion is brushed under the carpet and people make fun of it but i'm glad i am part of a 'mass going family' as my parents say. Faith in whatever you believe in can get you through things you never thought you could get through.

Grab Every Chance

Hey :)

Today was on of those days where I just wanted to come home and watch tv by myself, I didn't want to deal with my family and of course being a teenager I over reacted with anger to everything my mother has said to me since then.  But as I was cleaning out my desk I came across my birthday cards, I went to put them into a memory box I have and as I was going through them I came across the one I got from my uncle, This year has been so hard as my God Mother passed away and I found it weird seeing him sign a card without her. Don't want this blog to be very somber but If I have learned anything this year its that nothing lasts forever so we have to grab every chance we get because as cheesy at it sound it really might be our last. So when the opportunity came to go to Kenya volunteering this summer I jumped at it because I want to live life to the fullest (as much as possible). I don't ever want to miss anything because life really is too short.
